Why We Recommend Villa Alami

Villa Alami is a four-bedroom retreat in central Seminyak that consistently earns outstanding guest reviews — and the reason comes down to one word: Kadek. The villa’s long-serving housekeeper and cook is singled out in virtually every review as exceptionally warm, attentive, and a genuinely talented chef. Low season rates start from US$385 per night for the full four-bedroom villa, working out to under US$97 per room — and that includes daily breakfast, an airport pickup, and full staff.

The design is contemporary Balinese with an open-plan living pavilion that flows directly onto a private swimming pool with a shallow section for young children. Two ground-floor master bedrooms open straight onto the pool deck with king beds, while two upstairs bedrooms have flexible twin-to-king configurations and private terraces overlooking the tropical garden. The villa sits on Gang Bima in Seminyak, about a kilometre from Petitenget Beach and within walking distance of Made’s Warung, Bintang Supermarket, and Merah Putih restaurant.

A flexible 3-bedroom configuration is also available at a lower rate (US$330/night in low season) — one bedroom is simply locked off. This makes Villa Alami work equally well for couples, families, and groups of friends.

Kadek — the star of every review — the villa’s housekeeper and cook is rated 10/10 by guests and described as “incredible,” “the kindest, most caring lady,” and reason enough not to eat out. She cooks breakfast daily (included) and can prepare lunch and dinner on request.
Pool with shallow section for children — the 8m x 4m pool has a dedicated shallow area for toddlers, making this one of the more genuinely family-friendly villas in Seminyak. Pool fence, baby cots, and high chairs are all available.
Two poolside master bedrooms — both ground-floor bedrooms open directly to the pool deck with king beds, en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs, and tropical garden views. Step out of bed and into the pool.
Complimentary airport pickup and daily breakfast — an air-conditioned car meets you at the airport and breakfast is cooked fresh every morning, both included in the rate. Most competitors charge extra for at least one of these.
Walkable to everything — Made’s Warung is 650m, Bintang Supermarket 700m, and Merah Putih restaurant 500m. You can leave the car behind for most errands and meals.

Good To Know

1km to the beach, not beachfront — Petitenget Beach is about a 10-minute walk. The villa trades beachfront for a quieter residential setting with more space and greenery. Potato Head and other beach clubs are a short drive away.
Chef available on request, not included — Kadek cooks breakfast daily (included), but lunch and dinner are at extra cost (groceries plus cooking fee). Given her outstanding cooking reviews, we’d recommend booking at least one dinner in.
4 bedrooms, 4 en-suite bathrooms — every room has its own bathroom with rain shower. The two ground-floor masters also have bathtubs. Upstairs rooms have private terraces.
Flexible 3BR or 4BR pricing — book as 3BR from US$330/night or 4BR from US$385/night. The locked bedroom reduces the price without changing the villa experience.
Check-in from 2pm, checkout by 12pm — standard times. Early check-in and late checkout can be arranged subject to availability. The included airport transfer makes arrival smooth.
