From the far edge of Villa Dewi Lanjar’s infinity pool, the Indian Ocean fills the horizon in one unbroken sweep of blue. Perched on a limestone clifftop between Pandawa and Green Bowl beaches in Uluwatu, this four-bedroom villa is built around that view, and it changes all day, from bright morning glitter to fiery sunsets over the water.

The twelve-metre pool, lined in natural green stone, sits on the upper level beside the main living space, with rattan sun loungers and a broad terrace along its edge. Inside, a soaring timber ceiling in the Javanese style rises over polished marble floors, colonial-style furnishings and chandeliers, while glass sliding doors keep the ocean in sight from the sofa. There is a separate air-conditioned media lounge with a large screen, a long dining table and a generously equipped kitchen. Below, a manicured lawn and tropical garden give children room to run.

The master suite takes the top floor for the best of the sea views, with a marble ensuite, bathtub and double vanity. Breakfast is included each morning, and a dedicated team handles housekeeping and butler service, discreet or attentive as you prefer, with a cook, driver and nanny available on request. The southern beaches are minutes away, and Nusa Dua, Jimbaran’s seafood bay and the airport are all within easy reach.
