Villa Mila

In the middle of Villa Mila’s infinity pool sits a sunken lounge, a square of cushioned seating dropped below the waterline so you can sit with a cool drink while the water laps around you. It sets the tone for a home that is all about easy, sociable comfort. At the end of a peaceful lane in Berawa, the villa offers around 500 square metres of bright, contemporary tropical living, with Finns and Atlas beach clubs about five minutes away on foot.

The open-plan ground floor flows straight onto the pool deck. Pale sofas and rattan armchairs fill the lounge, woven pendant lights hang over a long teak dining table that seats fourteen, and the modern kitchen comes with a coffee machine and filtered water. Upstairs, the rooftop terrace is the villa’s crowning space: shaded sofas, a drinks fridge and a barbecue, with views reaching towards Bali’s volcanoes on a clear day, perfect for sunrise yoga or long evenings under the stars.

Five king bedrooms with warm teak accents and high ceilings each have an ensuite and a smart TV; two have soaking tubs, one with island views, and two offer work desks. A villa manager, daily housekeeping and pool and garden staff keep everything running smoothly, while an in-house chef can prepare breakfasts, dinners or barbecues on request. Berawa Beach, cafés, boutiques and wellness studios are all within an easy walk.
