Villa Rame
Why We Recommend Villa Rame
Villa Rame is white plaster and pale timber throughout, lifted by one deliberate note of colour: terracotta pendant lights, hung in clusters over the dining table and again in the living room. Against all that white they read as warm and slightly retro, and they set the tone for a villa that is calm without being cold.
The living space steps down into a low grey sofa facing an arched niche wall, with an oval timber dining table alongside and a kitchen behind. Glass doors fold back to a slim pool edged with timber decking and bougainvillea against the boundary wall. Upstairs, a rooftop terrace under a timber pergola takes the whole width of the house — sunset drinks, morning yoga, or somewhere to sit out of the wind.
Two bedrooms are quiet and generous, with carved timber headboards and their own bathrooms in pale microcement, one with an arched mirror over a floating stone basin. The white sands of Nyang Nyang are minutes away, and the wider Bukit — Uluwatu’s breaks, cliff bars and beach clubs — is an easy drive.
